You only need about 10 to finish the round and you get up to 16 back when you complete the round. You see that little “round 38” on the top? I’ve finished this 38 times and still have 905 bucks left. As it is, I am currently sitting at level 69, tapping never ending neighbor packs to try to get enough credits to play just a few more games to move up to level 75. As it is, just be prepared for this to be a thing in your experience as well. I could fill an entire post talking about how terrible it is but considering I don’t even know if this style of event is reoccurring or not I’ll save you all the rant. You get a pitiful amount of credits from completion, as the event is meant to be completed multiple times and, well, I have spent more time completing this event for credits than I have actually playing bingo. It sounds easy (and it is) but the devil is in the details. The goal is to fill a “house” (a 5×6 board essentially) by pulling cards from packs. I attempted the event and boy howdy, this thing is an absolute slogfest.

I ended up joining during the Fourth of July weekend, so there was an event ongoing which offered free credits for participation. Of course, that was when I ran out of credits.

I went from level 1 all the way up to Level 55 in an hour or two and actually found myself enjoying the game. Once I started that, the level ups came fast. I was less concerned with getting bingos and instead focused on daubing numbers. I would just let the numbers go until Daub Alert did its thing and numbers started blinking. The first few times were overwhelming, but after a few times it got easy. Once I got used to the boards and mechanics, I switched up to four boards despite my trepidation. The powerups themselves are incredibly helpful, giving anything from extra daubs to a “free win square” where it marks a random number on each board with a star, and if that number is called and you daub it, it gives an automatic bingo. Every daub on your board(s) give experience, and one of the powerups possible is Double XP which, predictably, doubles your XP for each daub after gaining the powerup. Overall, the boards are fairly forgiving if you daub a number that isn’t called, it daubs for a second before disappearing with no penalty, and even if you don’t get a bingo you still gain experience and other rewards.

Daub Alert, a bonus power up given for free the first few days that makes called numbers on your board blink, helped a ton, but when playing with multiple boards the amount of blinking numbers can get overwhelming FAST.ĭespite this, as I progressed through these first few levels, I found that the game got way easier as you level up. This process could be sped up by doing multiple boards at once, but keeping an eye on two boards was daunting, while four seemed absolutely impossible. If you were unlucky enough to not get any bingos during this time, it took even longer. Leveling up seemed like an arduous task during the first 10 levels, with multiple games being required just to level up once. When I first started, I could definitely see how people could be intimidated by the level 75 requirement. While these posts deigned to give any advice on how they made it through so quickly, I figured there had to be some kind of trick to it and I set in to find out what it was. However, there were comments here and there that were along the lines of “it wasn’t bad, I did it in two days or so”. When I first started, the general consensus on the Swagbucks Reddit was that it was incredibly tedious, time consuming, and overall not worth it.

Finally, it has a slew of mini games available, from a mini bakery where you receive ingredients from getting bingos to what appears to be a seasonal game where you open cards to try to get a full house (more on this later). In addition, there’s power-ups that appear when you ‘daub’ three different called numbers (apparently coloring in the called bingo number is called daubing, who knew?). First off, you can play up to four boards at once, which involves switching between two screens with two boards each. I was correct in this assessment–it IS just bingo–but Bingo Blitz finds a few ways to shake things up. I’d never played bingo before but come on, it’s bingo, it can’t be THAT hard to learn. Worth it?: Yes (if you don’t mind an absolute slogfest to get through the events)īingo Blitz jumped up to 2700 SB recently (previously the highest I had seen was 2000 SB) so I decided to take the dive and give it a shot.
